Global Entrepreneurship Week – Business opportunity, distributorship, licensee opportunity and other small business or franchise owners, current or prospective,
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is just around the corner! With more than 35,000 events slated to take place in 160 countries worldwide, this year’s GEW takes place starting on November 14-20, 2016.
The event is designed to encourage existing and aspiring entrepreneurs, enabling them to unleash their most innovative ideas with an eye toward improving the lives of others in their communities and around the world. More than 640 events to inspire and help individuals with an interest in business ownership and/or who have sincere entrepreneurial aspirations are planned for cities across the U.S. alone.
Launched in 2008 by UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Carl Schramm, the president and CEO of the Kauffman Foundation, GEW is more than a simple awareness campaign. It’s an actual networking opportunity for any small or other-sized business owner who wants to connect with like-minded individuals for the purpose of mentorship, collaboration and even investing, all in the context of advancing the common good.
A new and engaging sketchbook video by the Foundation released just yesterday illustrates the fact that GEW’s worldwide impact is greater than the sum of its many parts. In fact, it is now a movement unto itself, one that is gaining tremendous traction as it engages the global community to advance entrepreneurship to a whole new level.
