BusinessOpportunity.com Sponsors Home-Based Business Expo

BusinessOpportunity.com has announced it will sponsor a California-based expo focused on helping home-based business entrepreneurs in early February 2012.  Scheduled to be held at the Hyatt Regency Valencia and Santa Clarita Conference Center on February 18 and 19, the Biz@Home expo will provide aspiring and existing home-based business owners with the advice, assistance and support they want and need.

According to Gary Buterbaugh, the owner of High Impact Event Resources which is spearheading the event, the Biz@Home expo will offer home-based and other small business entrepreneurs a host of valuable resources all in one location.  Exhibit booths will be manned by representatives of various home-based business opportunities, as well as products and services that would be of benefit to small business owners.  In addition, the expo will feature a series of seminars for those who are interested in learning more about how to start or build a home-based or other small business.

Currently in development with the support of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the city of Santa Clarita’s Economic Development Department, these seminars will focus on all areas of home-based business and entrepreneurial development.  The first track will highlight the knowledge, skills and characteristics that will enable home-based business owners to be successful, while the second series will provide more in-depth information about various home-based business options, as well as the products and services that are available to support them.  Additional information will also be provided on how aspiring entrepreneurs can avoid an ever-increasing problem―the insidious and all too pervasive work-at-home scam.

“We are pleased to sponsor an expo that is specifically designed to support existing and aspiring home-based or other small business owners,” said Kevin James Culp, BusinessOpportunity.com’s Director of Sales.  “We hope that this kind of event will become more commonplace across the country as recognition grows about the fact that small business entrepreneurship will be much of what fuels our nation’s economic recovery.”

The Biz@Home’s expo’s exhibit area as well as all the seminars can be accessed by attendees for one low admission price.  Other sponsors of the event include:  The Santa Clarita Valley Signal, SCV Business Journal and the City of Santa Clarita.  Supporters include the SBDC and the City of Santa Clarita Economic Development Department.  The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce is serving as a community partner.
