Dallas-based Dickey’s Comes to West Virginia

Fast-casual restaurant chain Dickey’s announced it has signed on the dotted line to open its first franchise location in southern West Virginia. With more than 220 locations across 40 states, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has become the world’s largest barbecue chain since its inception in 1941.

Rita’s Italian Ice Brand Grows on West Coast and in the Caribbean

The nation’s largest Italian ice brand, Rita’s, currently boasts 550 locations in 22 states. The company announced this week that it has signed a new development agreement for parts of California as well as the ABC Islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao. Plans to grow the popular chain in Los Angeles County in particular through franchising agreements are substantial.
